RRB JE 2025 Selection Process

As mentioned in the previous year's RRB JE Notification, the selection of the candidates will be done through 4 different phases. The candidates have to qualify in each stage to get shortlisted for the Railway JE 2025 Recruitment.  

Stage 1- 1st Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-I)

Stage 2- 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-2)

Stage 3- Document Verification

Stage 4- Medical Examination

RRB JE 2025 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for RRB JE 2025 for CBT 1 and CBT 2 Exam, as declared by the Railway Recruitment Board is as follows- 

1. There shall be a negative marking of ⅓ marks for incorrect answers in CBTs. 

2. The duration of the CBT 1 Exam is 90 minutes, and for the CBT 2 Exam is 120 minutes. 

3. In CBT 1, there will be 100 questions, and in CBT 2, there will be 150 questions. 

4. The types of questions in the Computer-Based Test will be Objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).

RRB JE 2025 Admit Card

The admit cards will be available to download a week before the RRB JE 2025 examination. The steps to download the RRB JE admit card are given below.

  1. Visit the official RRB website - http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/.
  2. Log in with the registration number and DOB created during registration.
  3. The page will be redirected to a profile dashboard where the option to download admit card will be available. Click on it.
  4. Admit card will open in a new window.
  5. Download admit card and take a printout of it.

RRB JE 2025 Cut Off

RRB releases the minimum qualifying marks and cut-off after the completion of CBT-I. The expected minimum qualifying marks are 40% for general, 30% for OBC and SC, and 25% for ST category candidates. Qualifying marks are calculated out of 100 and 150 for CBT-I and CBT-II respectively. Have a look at the cutoff marks for the last exam held in 2019.
